Proud Partner Of 11th Annual Give Me Five For No Kid Hungry Raises Over $90,000
Proud Partner | 11th Annual Give Me Five For No Kid Hungry Raises Over $90,000
The Atlanta Food & Lifestyle Bloggers’ Society was a proud in-kind partner with this campaign.
On August 27th, the Atlanta Athletic Club was buzzing with over 350 guests in attendance for the 11th annual Give Me Five Dinner for No Kid Hungry. When all was said and done, the silent auction, live auction during dinner, tickets sold, and donations, the national non-profit raised over $90,000; of which 100% of all proceeds went to help end childhood hunger in Georgia and across the United States.
Cocktail Hour
During the cocktail reception, entertainment started with Kathy Trice on the harp and followed into the dining room with the Atlanta Acoustic Jazz Trio; and to toast the evening, a champagne tower room delighted the guests until we were lead to the dining room.

Obviously a worthy cause, glad they were able to raise so much money.
Thanks, Michelle. Very happy here also at the amount of money they raised. 🙂
They sound like an amazing organisation and it’s great that you got involved. The dinner sounds amazing and it so great that so much money was raised! It must have been so interesting to hear everyone’s experiences!
Thanks, Corinne & Kirsty. Being involved with such an amazing organization and doing our part to help raise money to feed Ameican kids is a very gratifying and heartwarming experience. Speaking personally for myself, hearing what the speakers had to say and the kids on the big screens were the highlight of the evening. Very proud to be part of it.
This sounds like such a wonderful event. I’m impressed that it raised so much money. How fantastic!
Thanks, Amber; $90,000 is a very impressive number. A lot of people and a lot of hard work goes into this campaign and they all deserve credit, but I have to say the biggest thank you goes to all who opened their wallets.
90,000 is amazing. Kudos to everyone who helped make the night a success. Not to mention the more publicity the better.
Agree, Rose, $90,000 is a great deal of money and I’m sure everyone involved feels absolutely amazing with that number!

Great cause and they raised so much money. That is fabulous
I can’t stand the thought of children being hungry (and yes I know all about the third world countries) it is so devastating. I think this is an excellent cause and I am so glad it raised that much money.
I’m with you, Akamatra. I can’t stand it that even one child goes hungry.
Such causes should be promoted worldwide and marketed by such events at least monthly! There’s still so much poverty in India as well.. There needs to be more awareness & charity! Good to hear about this.
Hunger is definitely a worldwide epidemic, Aishwarya, and awareness is key in success.
What a great organization, I am going to look into it more! And this event sounds classy, delicious, and I wish I had gone!
Everything you said, Amanda, is spot on!
What a fantastic fundraiser! Raising that significant amount is inspirational. Such a wonderful endeavor and gift of love.
